2025 saw an extremely difficult market for SaaS tools. While AI tooling made product marketing easier and quicker with wider reach, it also undermined the trust users had in sales collateral and content. More than ever, the core value of product marketing became focused on authenticity - and those who could merge the authenticity of human-authored content with AI-augmented outreach would rise above.
I Co-Founded DeveloperFirst.io with a simple idea in mind - AI-augmented and empowered content that was decidedly human. Through the use of Retrieval-Augmented Generation, a tool which would allow us to rapidly research and plan go-to-market strategies, we were able to boost our scale and ability to rapidly respond. With internal documentation and knowledge sharing, we were able to create a high-functioning team that collected hundreds of years of experience. In essence, DeveloperFirst.io was crafted into a dream system - the ease and reach of AI with the intelligence and experience of a research team.
