Freelance technical writing
Freelance technical writer for API, AI-agent and security companies.
I'm a freelance technical writer creating the deep, accurate, developer-trusted content most agencies can't, because I've spent a decade building, shipping and explaining this stuff. 750+ articles, 12 books, and $168M+ in attributed ARR later, I'd love to help you win over developers.
Topics I know from the inside
AI agents & MCP
Agent architecture, MCP servers, agent-ready API design.
API security
Zero trust, API threat modelling, security for non-engineers.
e.g. Simulating Multi-Agent Workflows to Find Hidden API Vulnerabilities
API architecture & governance
Standards, protocols, governance and testing at scale.
e.g. Exploring api-catalog, 5 Protocols for Event-Driven APIs
Cloud & platform engineering
Kubernetes, serverless, data sovereignty, cloud-native identity.
e.g. Securing Workloads With SPIFFE and SPIRE, Data Sovereignty Is Everyone's Problem
Recent work
Nordic APIs
How to Secure MCP Servers
A practical guide to locking down the protocol that connects AI agents to everything else.
Nordic APIs
Designing API Error Messages for AI Agents
When the consumer of your API is an LLM, your error messages become its instructions.
Speedscale
Simulating Multi-Agent Workflows to Find Hidden API Vulnerabilities
Using traffic simulation to surface the failures that only appear when agents talk to agents.
Why teams hire me
I build what I write about.
I write code in 10+ languages and build real AI-agent and API projects. When I write about MCP or agent security, it's because I've hit the edge cases myself.
I write for humans and for search.
From The New York Times and Variety to Nordic APIs and the Platform Summit stage, I know how to make a technical idea land without dumbing it down.
I write content that sells.
My content strategy has driven $168M+ in attributed ARR. I write to move pipeline, not just to fill a calendar.
What editors and clients say
From LinkedIn recommendations.
He has been our most prolific writer. He can take on complex topics with little guidance. He has a knack for producing compelling thought leadership style writing and has a wealth of knowledge on all things IT and cybersecurity… I would wholeheartedly recommend others to work with him.
I was extremely impressed by his skills, love for the Fandom community and willingness to try new things… Kristopher was always up for a new challenge… I would work with him again any time.

Questions
Do you ghostwrite?
Yes. Many retainer clients publish under their own team's names. I can also write under my byline when it helps your credibility.
What topics do you not cover?
I stay where I can be genuinely expert: APIs, AI agents and MCP, API security, cloud and platform engineering, and developer marketing. If it's outside that, I'll tell you and point you to someone better.
Can you write code samples?
Yes. I work in 10+ languages and test the code I publish.
Do you do SEO?
Every piece is structured for search: keyword-informed titles, headings and meta descriptions. I don't do link-building or keyword stuffing.
How do payments work?
Single articles: 50% upfront, 50% on delivery. Retainers: invoiced monthly in advance.
Do you take rush jobs?
Sometimes, depending on my calendar. Rush delivery (under 5 business days) costs 25% extra.
Need content developers actually read?
Tell me what you're building and I'll come back with two article ideas within 48 hours, free.
